TONIGHT: Golfing Battle of the Tours!
Our new pro golf card set includes golfers from BOTH pro tours, so naturally, we thought we should have them square off against each other! Join us at the luxurious Lagarte Viejo Mundo Golf Club in Playa Del Carmen Mexico for tropical tabletop golf fun! Each tour will send one of its top golfers to the tee, a different golfer every hole--a uniquely HMG golfing format! Starts TONIGHT at 6pm MT (8pm ET) on the PLAAY Games YouTube channel!

We have another busy year ahead of us, we want YOU to be a part of it! We went over our plans for 2024 in our first-of-the-year “Look Ahead” video stream, but here are (a few of) the high points...

• Draft Duel Fantasy Football Card Game returns this summer.
• Live Events include Second Season Football at The Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton OH!

PLAAY Games in Vegas at Dice Tower West!
This will be our third trip to Vegas for the Dice Tower West Board Game Convention, it's open to ALL gamers and we'd love to hang with you there! Our game plan includes a History Maker Golf tournament, full-play hoops action, a Dodge Ball World Tour series, and demos of our upcoming card battle game, Myth Mash! We have several in-the-works game ideas that we'd love for you to give in-person feedback on. Plus, game designer Mike Fitzgerald will join us at the booth for a first look at a new game we're working with him on, tentatively called "Battle of the Bands." (Some of you played an early version of this game at last year's PLAAY-Dot-CON!)

PLAAY Dot Con Update
We're ahead of last year's attendance pace, but there's still plenty of space for you to join us for the best two days in tabletop sports gaming! PLAAY-Dot-CON 2024 will feature a variety of fun events, presentations, organized tournaments, prizes, and LOTS of time to connect with our incredible community! Early Bird pricing until 02.29.24. We'll have a tentative schedule in place sometime in March.
Studio Spicy
The Game Garage has moved to Twitch, AND has a new name: Studio Spicy! It's a free-form video series that brings the game design experience to you. Watch for a blog post about it soon. The first few episodes have focused on card design and game balancing. Our next episode will show you the design process for the signage we'll be using at our Dice Tower West exhibit booth.

• 01.25.24 Dodgeball World Tour '24: Here's a chance for us to brush up on our Dodgeball skills in anticipation of the big Vegas competition! We'll start from scratch and show you how the game writes its own storyline: we'll run the first two weeks of a six-team league, and watch what happens!
• 02.01.24 PLAAY Q&A: Got a questions? Here's your chance to put it in front of us! Our annual Q&A show covers anything/everything enquiring minds in the PLAAY Games community want to know(We'll be as candid as we can!). Submit your question via e-mail, and we'll answer it during the show.
• 02.08.24 "Big Game" Pre-PLAAY with Second Season EXPRESS: We do this every year, the Thursday before the big game. This year's teams were put together by John Bowen (available as a free download), you're welcome to pre-PLAAY the game yourself and let us know the results!
• 02.15.24 SCRAM Season Opener--Return to the Motor Dome!: After two years in Hawaii, the season-opening SCRAM race returns to its roots at the massive Northern Lights MotorDome, the world's only indoor stock car racing venue! Sub-zero temperatures outside, but red hot racin' action inside!
FREE STUFF
• Mark Dykshoorn's 1954-55 Pro Season cards for HOCKEY BLAST: Old-time hockey from the 1950s, Mark did a nice job of replicating our "official" card format for this old-school season.
• Derek Jones Outdoor Hockey Charts: hold your own outdoor "winter classic" hockey action with this cool add-on from Derek!
• John Bowen's 2023 Pro Playoff Field for SECOND SEASON "Express": Features all fourteen playoff qualifiers (including those already eliminated), designed especially for "express" mode. We'll use John's ratings for our own express "Big Game" Pre-PLAAY, 02.08.24.
• Jule Sigall's 1998-99 English Pro League cards for SOCCER BLAST: Jule's been a huge content contributor to the PLAAY community, and this may be one of his best efforts ever! Includes all 20 football clubs, presented in team colors, along with a page of designer notes.

That's Canadian Rob Scott wearing the Monroe Catholic high school basketball uniform he received from this year's Online Christmas Part White Elephant gift exchange! Rob says, "Fits like a glove!" We got a lot of smiles when that gift was un-wrapped, one of the highlights of the party! How great is it that Rob can actually FIT into it! Good man!
