PLAAY Games in Vegas! Join us at Dice Tower West 2024

We're excited to once again be headed to Fabulous Las Vegas for the annual Dice Tower West Board Game Convention! Last year, well over 3000 board game fans from all over the globe gathered at the iconic Rio Resort Hotel and Casino for five days of non-stop (literally, 24 hours a day) board game fun. We're extending an "all hands on deck" call for PLAAY gamers to join us for the excitement and fun. I've mentioned a few times the massive Dice Tower game library (featured in the video above), which includes games of ALL kinds AND space to play them. You just check the game out at the desk and break it out on the table. And, of course, we'll have lots of PLAAY-centric stuff happening as well. We'll have our own booth in the exhibitor's hall (space #28), and will be available to talk and PLAAY all day, just stop by!

NOTE 02.22.24: All of our sanctioned events are now full, except for a second Myth Mash tournament which we put together and posted yesterday (02.21.24). We should be able to accommodate extras at the golf tournament, so feel free to just show up!

Last year, we got our feet wet with a couple of sanctioned/scheduled events of our OWN on the official Dice Tower calendar. This year, we've set up five organized events...

• THURS 03.07.24, 530pm: "Myth Mash" Demo and Tournament. Sam will be teaching this new deck-building card-battle game and conducting a tournament.

• THURS 03.07.24, 530pm: Dice Tower West Open Golf Tournament, History Maker Golf. We'll use the Rocky Mountain National Golf Course from PLAAY-Dot-CON 2024, and our "D-I-Y" golfer card guidelines. "Be the ball, Danny!" Play like a pro! Winner gets a free copy of the game.

• FRI 03.08.24, 11am: "Myth Mash" Demo and Tournament. We added a second tournament because the first one filled up!

• FRI 03.08.24, 2pm: Aviatrix '37 co-op flight. We've got room for four in the cockpit of the Lockheed Elektra (I know, only two flew in real-life, but hey!), we'll make decisions together with the idea of making it safely around the world in 30 days or less. Everyone in the flight crew gets a free copy of the game if we do. If we have more than four people, we'll do multiple flights, simultaneously.

• FRI 03.08.24, 530pm: Dodgeball World Tour LIVE IN Las Vegas! This might end up being a laid-back dodgeball "show" with spectators watching the antics unfold, OR cut-throat competitors each directing their own team--depending on the group! • SAT 03.09.24, 530pm: Highlight Maker Hoops: PRIME TIME! Yup, we're bringing along the finished version of our full-play hoops game for folks to get an in-person experience a few months before the actual release! We'll be sure to have a good supply of teams on-hand from all eras, vintage to contemporary. Remember, "what happens in Vegas, STAYS in Vegas..."

For ALL events, interested gamers should meet at the PLAAY Games booth (space #28 in the exhibit area), please plan to be there ten to fifteen minutes before the event is scheduled. We'll get a head count and move from there to one of the dedicated game-play areas set up for us.
